About me

I am Hannah, a dedicated advocate for an inclusive education system that caters to the needs of all children. With over a decade of experience in specialist provision schools, both as a teacher and teaching assistant, I have acquired a profound understanding of the diverse challenges faced by children with varying needs. Presently, I work as a teacher and SENCO in a mainstream school where I have been for 5 years, providing essential support to a wide spectrum of children and families as they navigate the complexities of education and SEND. Additionally, I am deeply committed to equipping my teaching colleagues with the requisite skills and knowledge to effectively address SEND needs within their classrooms.

My passion is rooted in personal experience, having grown up with a sister with disabilities whose journey profoundly influenced my perspective. It is now my steadfast mission to ensure that every child receives the necessary resources and support to thrive academically. I am on your team. Amidst the controversies surrounding education, I firmly advocate for placing children and young people at the forefront. The evolution of the education system to meet the growing need for inclusivity and support is paramount.
